The Magic of a New Notebook

Hey there, lovely.

The crack of a notebook's cover.

The scent of fresh paper and pen.

The pure potential of how I can fill all those pages.

Ooooo ... these are like catnip to me. I get all twizzly.

Maybe because I'm a writer? Or just a freak for a clean notebook?

Who knows. (Who cares?). It's all about a fresh start, right?

Starting a new notebook every January helps in so many ways:

~ You can track your progress

~ Learn from decisions you pondered

~ Jot down those big ideas

~ Record layouts and card spreads

~ Save memories in something besides your phone.

There’s just something sacred about a "notebook practice."

Do you grab onto a word of the year? Like a touchstone -- reminding you of your goals, your values, your worth?

I do. And my word for 2024 is ...

I like to think that this word appears throughout my work. 

This is the year I will truly step into my power as a way show-er.

I intend to be a beacon that people can follow and can tap into. 

I want to shine a bright light on:

~ Passion for my work -- thank goodness THAT never waivers.

~ Goals -- setting them AND 'ing them off my to-do list.

~ Values -- what are my non-negotiables in behavior that I'll accept? Boundaries, babe.

~ Integrity -- lead by example. Ethics are EVERYthing in the spiritual world.

~ Gratitude -- for what I've been given and what's yet to come.

Lovely, your year is what you make of it. 

So, pour your heart, your passion, your trust, and your power into your pages and believe your dreams, goals, and intentions will happen. 

And then take steps to make it so.
